Step Up Program (SUP)

A group counseling program centered around non-violence in the community.  The program design will have participants discuss topics that improve social climate, youth self-regulation and social emotional learning.  The discussion will assist in bridging the gap between adults and the youth with positive youth engagement activities. The SUP program will put a strong emphasis on sexual violence in the community and discuss topics to help decrease teen dating violence and sexual assault in youth.

Financing Our Future

Community partner Game Changer Capital has agreed to hold discussions about financial literacy with the youth in our program.  The students will discuss topics such as financial goal setting, budgeting, the importance of credit, and stock market investing.  US Department of Education statistics show that students with high financial literacy scores reported being twice as likely to complete higher education than their low-performing peers.

The Future Prospects Program

We will partner with Prospect Alert along with many other youth programs to provide baseball programming designed to help grow baseball in low socio-economic communities.  The program will provide unique assistance to players and families who are in need of financial support.  Our assistance will come in the form of baseball facility rental, equipment, training, travel, non-violent counseling, financial literacy, and academic tutoring.  Our goal is to minimize the cost of youth sports for as many families and participants as possible. Our staff is very experienced in youth baseball and have an extensive track record of helping  youth within the community earn college scholarships or play professional baseball.
